Ashford University is an accredited online university offering Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral Degrees across six colleges including Forbes School of Business and Technology, College of Doctoral Studies, College of Liberal Arts, College of Health Human Services and Science, College of Education and the Division of General Education.


The mission of Ashford University is to provide high-quality, accessible, affordable, and innovative, educational programs that meet the diverse needs of individuals pursuing advancement in their lives, professions, and communities. Ashford University is where higher education meets technology. 

In 2019, they went through a major institutional transition from a for profit to non-profit university. It was a moment that allowed them to rewrite their own story and set the record straight about their student-centric mission, best in class educational offering, accreditation following a sustained period of critique.

Much like their students, we came to find their tenacity as an online institution sets them apart. I led the client and internal team through

  • Brand positioning (internal and external)

  • Creative campaign development for brand and program specific messaging and visual identity

  • Illustration and Animation Production

The result was a unique, ownable campaign that could be used across platforms, paid media, and internal channels.
